TiC's WRX



Brief rundown of the car we have entered this year. It is a 2004 Subaru Impreza WRX that looks pretty plain from the outside, but under the skin is highly modded. The car is owned by Tony Wiesenhahn, the driver for the event, and was purchased new in 2005. It has lived its life for racing and has seen many seasons of autox as well as many hours of track time. Throughout it all, it has been a fun, while not wholey reliable, ride.

    Will the lightweight front calipers be up to the task on the road courses? I've read about those getting cooked on longer courses.

  2. They should be ok considering we are only doing 4 or 5 laps total. The front rotors will carry the brunt of the heat and with the brake ducts we have made, cooling is in check.
