GAH! Transmissions

So, in the course of 24 hours here's what we had happen with the time attack car -

• Spare 6MT of Clint's went in TA car.
• Found center diff to be dead dead dead.
• Spare 6MT comes out.
• 08 STi goes into garage.
• Tranny from 08 STi comes out of 08 STi.
• Seals for axles get changed
• Stubs go into 08 Tranny
• 08 Tranny goes into TA car
• 08 STi sits outside
• Discover that speed sensor NEEDS to send a signal
• 08 tranny has no speed sender as 08 the 08 it reads off the ABS
• Fake a speed signal by hooking up electic motor to turn sender off spare tranny
• Watch sender spin at 1800 rpm
• Watch speedo register all the way past 160mph to come around to almost 0 again.
• Watch odometer tick off 2.5 miles in mere seconds
